Few sports events get off to a start as impressive as the international youth football tournament Città della Pace. Every year, the municipal organizing committee of Rovereto succeeds in presenting another spectacular handball, field hockey and football tournament for young people. It starts with the impressive opening ceremony. Before the enormous Peace Bell tolls one hundred times, the participants take the fair play oath and the national anthems of all the participating countries are played. The finals are played in front of full stands. In 2012, the tournament was held for the twenty-fifth time, with participants from no fewer than 25 countries! Torneo Cittá della Pace, 27° EDITION Is coming!
